During this introductory course to yoga I aim to inspire you to become self-aware of how your body is connected to your breathing, your thoughts, your emotions and your desires. In addition, I focus on sharing practical yoga philosophy, which could be used to improve the experience of our modern life.
My teaching style involves giving personal attention to every student, so I can help you to adjust your yoga practice to work more efficiently for you.
In short, this yoga course is meant for beginners and will include:
body exercises (dynamic flow and static asanas)
breathing exercises (pranayamas)
concentration techniques
basics of yoga philosophy
meditation techniques
psychology of communication
working with emotions and neurotic forms of behaviour
exploring psychosomatic connections between physical posture and emotional state
In general, every lesson consists of hatha yoga, with a strong focus on correct breathing and a concentrated state of consciousness, and after a short break there is a yoga theory block. The programme is developed to deepen your yoga practice and knowledge gradually, from simple to complex.
During this course you explore yoga methods and learn to adjust and apply them for yourself. I am inspired by my students and consider it highly important to create a safe and a challenging experience for all participants.
